Shutters, the resort's chick restaurant serves contemporary Asian and Western dishes. One could enjoyed authentic Thai cuisine at award winning Thanying. The 13-seat Sibon was formally a small chapel, offering Japanese kushiage and the seafood is available at Silk Road Of The Sea at the beach house.
Exterior
Set in 3.5 hectares of lush tropical greenery with two block of white wash 2-storey colonial building, a new contemporary low rise buildings, a low rise building with glass facade that house the conference rooms and a all glass wedding chapel.

The minimalist design lobby is medium in size, has high ceiling, full length glass bringing in the natural day light and limited sitting area.
General
Amara Sanctuary sits on the site of the historic British Sergeants Quarters that were built in the 1930s. Two of the building are conserve colonial heritage buildings which now houses the Verandah and Courtyard suites. The resort has its own tennis court, jogging track and three outdoor pools.
