This hotel is the grand olde dame of buildings in Singapore, located on Beach Road, this former beach front property is now relegated almost 1 kilometre inland due to the land reclamation works. Nevertheless its location is within the colonial district where much of Singapore's colonial heritage lies.
Restaurant
There are numerous restaurants in the hotel complex, offering some of the finest dining available in Singapore.
Exterior
Tastefully restored to its original splendour of 1886, as well as improved upon with extensions and modern fittings. The facade is an icon of Singapore.
Lobby
The lobby opens up three floor to the glass roof where natural sunlight brightens up the interior. Old style check in counters, the grandfather clock are all original amidst the white marble floor and teak staircase to recreate that old world charm.
General
